If you are shopping around for another vehicle, then there are many things to recommend the Audi A4.  This stylish vehicle is billed as a “compact executive sedan,” which means that it is a 4-door sedan, with a decent amount of power and performance.  The A4 has been around for some time, as the line actually debuted back in 1994, and has remained in production since that point.

You will also find that there are several different models available within the A4 line.  For instance, there is the B5, which ran from 1996 through 2001.  This model was available with several different engines, including a 1.6-liter and 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine, a 1.8-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder, a 2.4-liter V6, 2.6-liter V6 and a 2.8-liter V6.  The most powerful engine was the 2.8-liter 30-valve V6.

You can also buy a used Audi A4 B6, which debuted in 2002 and ran through 2005.  This model had many of the same engine options as the B5, but had an additional 3.0-liter V6 engine as well. The B7 debuted in 2006 and remained in production until 2008, and is one of the few A4 styles that was available in styles other than a sedan – it came as a 5-door wagon and a 2-door cabriolet version.  It also had a new 2.0-liter engine, as well as a 3.2-liter V6 engine.

The Audi A4 B8 debuted as a 2009 model, and was available as both a 5-door wagon and a 4-door sedan (the cabriolet version was deleted).  A 1.8-liter 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder and a 3.2-liter V6 FSI engine were available with this model.  This model also saw the addition of a 7-speed Multitronic transmission for the first time (5 and 6-speed transmissions were the rule in the past).

As you can see, there are several options open to you if you want to buy a used Audi A4, and these all make excellent choices.  Audi has long been known for manufacturing some of the highest quality cars in the world, and you can count on that reputation with a used model just as well as with a new one.  In addition, you will find that most of the used options out there are “gently” used, which means that they have low miles and most have been well maintained throughout their lives.  This ensures that you are able to enjoy a vehicle that not only looks great, but runs well, too.
