Everyone uses closets, storage and ways to maintain and keep their stuff.  It is essential now a days that people stay organized.  You can stay on top of things pretty well if you have a good closet design as well as a few nifty tools.  My favorites include do it yourself closet organizers, easy to assemble shelving, as well as plastic storage boxes.

For a new and simple closet design start by removing all your clothing and stored items from your closet and start to group them together using any qualifications that make sense and work for you.  Then start to evaluate how much stuff you have and where those things may fit in your closet mentally sectioning off spaces to use for categories of clothes.

Your stuff needs to remain in groups so that it is easy to find and you know exactly where it’s home is all the time.  With everything grouped, you can start to assess what the additional ingredients are for your new closet design.  You may need another clothing rod, shelves, a belt or tie hanger, perhaps baskets, jars, containers or plastic storage boxes.  You may even consider a whole closet system, but likely you can do what you need with very little.  So from your groups decide on your additional components and how many of them you need.

Your success from this point really depends on a few things. Take your time to put together your groups of items in your closet in a way that makes sense and that works for you.  Think about it thoroughly to get it right.  Once it is there now the key will be for you to commit this to memory and commit to maintaining it.  Everything needs a home and you have now established that but you will have to use it’s home to remain organized and efficient in your processes.  Once the subconscious is trained to follow this system it will be a walk in the park.

You are now in the clear. If you follow this simple process for a little while, habit will take over entirely, and you will not have to try to be organized, you simply will be.  If you get off track, pull yourself back up and keep going cause guaranteed you are almost there.
