Do you have a hard time buying gifts for family and friends? Whether it’s a birthday, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas, Wedding Shower or any other time you need a gift, sometimes you spend hours on line searching for that special something for someone. I know it mostly boils down to gift cards either to on line stores or restaurants now-a-days, but once in a while it’s nice to actually get a real gift!

Flameless Candle

A flameless candle can be something you really don’t buy for yourself. It’s like, “Oh well, that’s something extra and I REALLY don’t need it.” But once you have one, you just want to share that experience with others. Since they are worry-free because they meet the local fire codes, that’s a good first reason to have one. I can remember being concerned about the dripping wax and messy clean-up along with the soot and fumes of regular burning candles. But that’s not a problem with flameless candles. They don’t damage your furniture or generate heat, especially in the warmer climate areas. It’s hard to tell the difference between a real burning candle and a flameless candle since they mimic the action of a real candle. Maybe some do that better than others, but I’m very pleased with these types of candles I received as a gift and have continued to purchase.

I recently purchased one of these candle for a co-worker who was hospitalized. It turned out to be a perfect gift! It could be used as a night light or just set that warm homey feeling in her room. Then, of course, she was able to take it with her when she left the hospital and use it at home. And she had a little child at home but flameless candles are safe with children and pets. They can be knocked over with no worry of fire or a mess.

Flameless Candle for a Housewarming Gift

These types of candles can really be a good idea for a housewarming gift. There are so many styles and colors to choose from that you’ll be able to match someone’s decor or start out with a simple set of pillar candles in three different sizes. They can use them on a mantle, coffee table, bookshelf, hutch or in a bedroom. The candles with a remote control are also a good feature since you don’t run electricity and just use them when needed.

So keep flameless candles in mind when shopping for that extra-special gift.
