Pimples can come up at some of the most inappropriate times you could ever imagine. Right when you begin to feel confident about the way you look, a pimple just pops up. Right when you decide you are going to wear that sexy-cut dress that shows your amazing neckline, the pimple shows up. Even though popping pimples can seem like the easiest way to get rid of them, it may also cause severe skin damage when compared to what would happen if you just left it alone until it went away on its own.

First, pimple popping is rarely hygienic. When you a pop a pimple with your own hands, you are opening a wound in your body that could be susceptible to bacterial contamination. Your hands are not likely to be clean, so all the germs on your hand would transfer into your body.

Second, popping a pimple with a finger can lead your finger nails to leave huge scars on your face– the size of your nail. This area is very sensitive so the scar is very likely to form and will be very unsightly and hard to remove once it gets there.

Trying to pop the pimple might sound like a good idea, but you might not know that letting a pimple dry out on its own will allow it to clear up and heal a lot better than if you end up forcing it to pop? Forcing it will definitely make the pimple come back again.

This is why you need to think twice before you pop any pimple. Are you willing to have an unsightly scar on parts of  your face? It might heal over time, but what if it leaves dark circles around the area? Wouldn’t that just end up drawing more attention to your face’s imperfections?

Instead of popping, try out a few home remedies beforehand. See whether they can clear up your pimples in time. Unfortunately, they might not actually solve your problem right away, but they can help eliminate some of the problems that come along with it!

Besides that, trying to prevent the problem can be a lot better than trying to cure it once it comes up. You should try to have a healthy and clean lifestyle. Try to avoid all junk foods and stress, as well as alcohol. Wash and clear your face before you go to sleep and also remove all the makeup. These are the best ways to ensure you don’t get pimples to start with.
