Real Inexpensive CZ rings are the in thing today for people that like to wear items that sparkle, but don’t like to spend a fortune. Man made cubic zirconia stones are actually a bit of a technological wonder! It’s like you’re wearing diamonds that only cost one tenth of the price. Its unfortunate that in the past these gems have had their fair share of bad press with many people calling them fake and cheap imitations. The thing is that there is nothing really bad about fake things, especially if they look almost exactly like the real thing and the people who buy them know what they are getting.

Only a trained eye with the right gadgets can tell a cubic zirconia from a diamond, but the reason they are cheap is because they’re made in a laboratory as opposed to a diamond that took millions of years to create. If you can’t afford to have real diamonds, you don’t have to remortgage your house or sell your car just to have them. You can afford luxuries that look as good as those worn by the millionaires of the world.

Cubic zirconia is originally clear in color but chemists can sometimes add color to it to look like other gems such as emeralds and rubies and people who buy them are not necessarily down on their luck or can’t afford the real thing. You’d be shocked to know that even celebrities and billionaires buy these replicas too. We just naturally assume what they’re wearing is real because they can afford to buy them if they liked. A famous celebrity, Beyonce, had her cubic zirconia ring made to look like her 5 million dollar diamond ring. Jay-Z had it made for her so they don’t have to worry much about it getting stolen when she’s wearing it out in public. It’s actually a great idea and there’s certainly no shame in being practical.

While celebrities may get away with a 5 million dollar diamond replica, don’t think you can too. Celebrities and millionaires can get away with it because people know they can afford to. Don’t go buying a 5 carat cubic zirconia solitaire ring and expect your friends to believe you. Even though it’s cheap, you should buy something that looks attainable. Imagine it as a diamond, you can probably afford one carat but not more than that. Buying a replica may not be all that bad.
