The phrase TracFone Android phones may seem totally crazy to you since you may know that TracFone is sort of the antithesis of high end expensive android phones.  But, you may also be surprised to know that TracFone has some Android phones already.  They are just under different brand names that are owned by the same company that owns TracFone and are under the same umbrella but just serve different audiences of people.  They all have their strong suits, and now all of them have Android phones.  Yeah!

So now that we have established there are Tracfone Android phones, let’s move on and discuss the ones that are available.  Straight Talk’s Android phones are pretty cool and are very similar in nature to the ones from Net10, another value prepaid phone provider.  The thing about Straight Talk and Net10 is that you will have to use the Android phones you buy from them with the unlimited plan.  Actually, with net10 you have a choice, but you would probably want to use the unlimited Net10 plan anyway.  With Straight Talk, you don’t have a choice.  You have to use the Unlimited Straight Talk prepaid plan with both of the Straight Talk android phones.

Net10′s android phones are the LG Optimus Q and Optimus Net, two phones very close in nature except one runs on a slightly higher android operating system and one has a sliding keyboard.  Other than that they are very similar.  You may see the Optimus line of phones in a lot of different prepaid brand lineups, because it is a very popular line of midlevel android phone.  Straight Talk, for example, has the LG Optimus Q, which is identical to the Net10 version of the phone.  You also can choose the Samsung Galaxy Precedent, if you prefer that phone to the LG one.  As you see, you definitely have choices in which Tracfone Android phone you choose.
