Category: Baby Items

Cloth diapers are definitely making a come back.  A lot of parents are switching to using cloth diapers for a number of reasons.  One is that the parents can save a lot of money over the diapering term of their child.  Another is that they can help to reduce your impact on the environment.  Other benefits include a reduced number of diaper rashes as well as having their child potty train earlier.  One drawback to using cloth diapers is having to clean them.  This can be a daunting task each and every day.  What is even worse, is when you are on the go.  With disposable diapers you can just toss the diaper in the trash and be on your way.  When you are using cloth diapers, you can’t do that.  You need to be able to take the soiled diaper home.  You don’t want to put the soiled diaper in your bag, so what do you do?  One option is to use a wet bag.

A wet bags is a bag that has fabric on the outside and a waterproof fabric on the side, allowing you to put dirty, soiled, and wet items like diapers into them, so that they do not get everywhere.  This is perfect for putting diapers in, but that is not the only usage.  Even if you use disposable diapers on your child, they can have blow outs and get their clothes dirty as well.  You’ll need a place to put those clothes to take home and a wet bag is perfect for that.

You can use plastic baggies or they even sell plastic bag wet bags which like look mini garbage bags.  These are an option as well, but for a lot of people who are doing cloth diapers in order to help the environment, that isn’t a good option.  In that case, they can buy a nice wet bag made out of fabric and they can store their dirty diapers in style.
